Laser Institute of America

The Laser Institute of America (LIA) is the professional society for laser applications and safety. Their mission is to foster lasers, laser applications, and laser safety worldwide. Serving the industrial, medical, research and government communities for over 40 years, the LIA offers technical information and networking opportunities to laser users from around the globe.

AILU - Association of Industrial Laser Users

AILU is run by and for the UK laser community. Its membership extends over five continents and is made up of laser users in industry and academia as well as by manufacturers and suppliers of lasers and laser-related equipment and services.

Formed in 1995 as a not-for-profit organization, the Association enjoys worldwide recognition for the practical advice it offers on technical and business matters related to laser applications in manufacturing. It is a leader in fostering co-operation and collaboration within the laser community, promoting best practice in industrial laser materials processing and allied technologies and supports the maintenance and improvement of standards for laser safety and performance.

Electronics Yorkshire

Electronics Yorkshire receives funding from Yorkshire Forward and European Union ERDF. It is a not for profit company with a board of directors, drawn from the region's electronics industry, who serve on an independent non-executive basis.

Their aim is to support and assist the growth of the electronics sector through training, technical support and networking.

The region's leading business organisation bringing business together and representing the interest of all business across the region. Providing a wealth of information, advice and guidance for all those with entrepreneurial spirit.

SGIA - Specialty Graphics Imaging Association

SGIA members are center stage in the specialty imaging world. Screen printing, digital printing, embroidery, sublimation and pad printing are their primary imaging technologies, and they use them to create products or add value to existing products.

SGIA members create graphics like point-of-purchase displays, signs, banners and advertisements. They also enhance existing products such as garments, containers, vehicles, product identification and compact discs.
