Fume Extraction Company Strengthens European Team

Purex International Ltd, manufacturer of fume extraction equipment for the laser, electronics and printing industries have just announced the appointment of a new Business Development Manager for Europe - Jonathan Long.

Purex manufacture a range of innovative fume extraction systems which capture and then filter hazardous fumes thereby protecting the health of workers and preventing environmental pollution. Examples of applications that produce hazardous fumes include soldering, laser engraving, laser marking and wide format inkjet printing.

Jonathan joins Purex at a time when they are actively expanding sales and distribution outlets throughout Europe and the rest of the world. Jonathan has in excess of twenty years experience developing businesses in technically driven environments, predominantly within the print & packaging markets.

Jonathan comments, “I have always enjoyed taking on a new challenge, this one especially as Purex offer fume extractors for such a wide variety of interesting applications such as electronics manufacturing, laser processing and printing. My new role offers a great deal of diversity and a most interesting opportunity to directly assist our distributors and their customers to achieve their goals.”

Working for the Business Development Director - Tony Lockwood, Jonathan will be actively pushing to gain market share for UK based Purex in several European countries by developing relations with active distributors and setting up new partnerships in key areas.
