Authentic Filters
Authentic Purex filters are designed, manufactured and tested to the highest standards specifically for use with Purex fume extraction systems.
Purex works closely with its filter suppliers to specify the quality and quantity of filter media for each of the applications where our systems are used.
Purex has exclusive, legally binding agreements in place with all of its filter suppliers which prevent those suppliers from supplying Purex filters to a third party. In addition some of our filter designs are also protected by patents which we actively defend.
Purex cannot guarantee the quality of filters bought from any other source, neither can we be certain that filter media contained within the filter is up to the same exacting standards that Purex demands of its suppliers and consequently we cannot be confident that hazardous materials are not being released into the workplace of those customers using non-Purex filters.
Please note that for the above reasons our warranty does not apply to defects, where in our opinion, they are caused by the use of non Purex parts or filters. Purex would unfortunately also have to withdraw any Health & Safety / LEV certificates issued by us or our Distributors as part of an annual maintenance check.
Authentic Purex filters can only be purchased either directly from Purex or from one of our approved Distributors, a list of approved Distributors can be found on our website www.purex.co.uk If you are in any doubt about the authenticity of your filters please do not hesitate to contact either Purex or your nearest approved Purex Distributor and we will be pleased to put your mind at rest.
