What is fume extraction?

Fume extraction is the process in which an extractor collects and filtrates hazardous particles from the air – this works by fume extractors vacuuming contaminated air into a filtration system, which then disposes of these toxic fumes in a safe environment. Fume extraction systems come in various shapes and sizes, and are each suited for different industries. A few sectors which may need to utilise fume extraction include:

Our versatile range is useful for a wide array of industries. These are just some of the products in our brilliant range:

iFume Series

Our innovative iFume systems are fully automatic – all you have to do is set up the appropriate airflow on installation. The iFume range comes with a dedicated control, monitoring and display system, that is not only easy to use, but your company can also benefit from the low running costs.

There are many iFume systems which have been adapted for different industries – for example, the iFume 400i violet is suited for the coating and dispensing industry. Whereas, the iFume 400i Green, was specially made for environments with laser engraving. The iFume range contains features, such as:

  • Adjustable airflow
  • Full colour touchscreen
  • Low running costs
  • Gas and particle sensors measuring the exhaust air.

These are just a few features of the iFume range, check out our iFume Series page  to find out more.
