New Welding Regulations

From February 2019, the HSE immediately enforced new regulations regarding welding, including mild steel welding. This new enforcement applies to all workers, employers, self-employed, contractors and any others who undertake welding activities.

All welding activities are now to have local exhaust ventilation. Purex machines are designed to handle all fume and particulate including welding fumes. Have a look above at our 1500i being used in a welding bay.
