Starting the Day: Production Meeting and Prioritising Orders

Every morning at Purex begins with a production meeting with members of leadership from across our operations team. The session sets the tone for the day ahead and includes reviewing deliverables for the week, identifying any potential set-backs, and coordinating timelines across departments.

Having everyone in the room, including the sales team, means we can respond quickly to urgent orders, customer breakdowns, and client requests. It also ensures that completion dates for orders are realistic and achievable, keeping our service dependable and our customers happy.

Coordinating Across Teams

Need a new unit designed? A spec changed for a specialist order? That’s where the engineering team steps in. Working behind the scenes, our engineers are always looking for ways to improve our products and develop new technologies to advance the fume extraction industry.

This cross-team collaboration is key. Innovation is a team effort, and it happens every day at Purex.

Service in Action: Keeping Clean Air Flowing

The service team is constantly on the move, coordinating and carrying out LEV installations, maintenance, and testing across the UK. From scheduling engineer visits to performing annual assessments, it’s a fast-paced, customer-led process.

As Tom Vincent, Service Coordinator, shares:

Reaching Global Markets: The International Sales Perspective

While much of the team operates from Purex HQ or on the road within the UK, the company’s international presence is always expanding.

Geoff Hamilton, International Sales Manager, is responsible for driving global growth at Purex. Drawing on over six years of experience within the filtration industry, Geoff brings a deep understanding of the sector’s global landscape.

Working remotely from Poole on the south coast, Geoff balances home-based operations with regular travel, meeting customers and seeking new business opportunities across the world. His work plays a key role in expanding Purex’s international footprint and helping customers everywhere breathe cleaner air.

Ensuring Timely Dispatch and Customer Satisfaction

Once an order is ready to go, it’s in the hands of our Quality and Logistics teams. Every product that leaves our facility has undergone strict checks and is packed and dispatched exactly to spec. That’s true whether we’re shipping to a UK manufacturer or a distributor across the globe.
