Industrial Dust Extraction Systems

Our dust extraction systems are designed to handle heavy dust removal whilst reducing health risks associated with dust exposure.

Suitable for variety of applications, including blasting, grinding, cutting, and woodworking, our clean air machines promise reliability, versatility and HSE compliance. Prioritising operator health, we pride ourselves on creating a safe working environment that supports productivity to generate long-term business returns.

Typical Applications

Abrasive blasting

Blasting involves projecting a rapid stream of abrasive particles, like silica sand, onto a surface using compressed air. Designed to clean and smooth surfaces, the process of abrasive blasting subsequently releases respirable crystalline silica (RCS) or silica dust into the air.

Silica dust can be extremely harmful when inhaled into the lungs, so our industrial dust extraction systems are designed to remove airborne dust particles to provide clean air and protect operators against harmful dust fumes.

Grinding

Angle grinders, automated grinding machines and die grinders all produce grinding dust when shaping and finishing pieces. Similarly, activities like drilling and chiselling produce dust and particles that pollute your working environment unless properly captured and filtered at the source.

Overexposure to grinding dust can lead to conditions like silicosis (a form of COPD) and asthma. So, our machines offer an effective dust extraction solution for a variety of grinding methods.

Woodworking

Woodworking processes like sawing, cutting, sanding and planing all create wood and sawdust. Depending on the length of exposure, wood dust can irritate the eyes, nose, and throat and even cause difficulty breathing. Our Purex dust extraction systems remove wood dust at the source, providing an additional level of protection for operators.

    FumeCube Dust

The Purex FumeCube Dust is the newest addition to the FumeCube series, purpose-built for the desktop engraving sector. Equipped with a high-grade Cuboid filter, it safely and efficiently captures dust and debris at the source. A varicoloured LED status indicator—based on a traffic light system—provides clear, real-time filter condition updates to the operator. Additionally, the unit’s automatic electronic flow control maintains a consistent extraction rate, even as the filter becomes saturated, ensuring optimal performance without compromise.
